Something the average Ursan group can't do. Honestly the biggest reason people played in UB groups was that it took no organization, all you did was invite ursans/monks and go. Making it required to bring a decent skill bar because ursan is only up 50% of the time is actually a good nerf, because the average wammo that plays ursan can't make a decent skillbar.
Does anyone know how the new Ursan Rage works? Is it like Cyclone Axe where you just have to have a target when you use it? Or is it target foe and foes adjacent to that target (AoE, rather than the previous PBAoE)? The latter could be considered a nerf, because if you are surrounded by enemies and target one of them, only some of them would actually take dmg+kd.
My hope is that because now that you might have to coordinate builds, time it so that 3 of 6 people are in ursan at a time, and the reduced damage might slow UB groups enough that normal groups are more viable. I can only hope.

Arcane Mimicry originally could copy Ursan, but it was changed after people combined Ursan with dervish form spells, ie you could be in Ursan and Balthazar form at the same time. And that was a bit too uber even for ANets taste.
EDIT: I tested, and Ursan Rage is still PBAoE (I knocked down all enemies surrounding me).

I just tested Ursan Rage (stood between 60 AL suit and 100 AL suit, clearly adjacent to both, but they were not adjacent to each other) used Rage on the 60 AL and only he got hit. Possibly a bug 'cause the description (concise) says "Hits foes adjacent to you."

Hmmm... That's interesting.
I tested by going out from North Gate and aggroing 3-4 groups of grawl, and when I was completely surrounded I used Ursan Rage. All grawl surrounding me were knocked down (and insta-killed).
Then I went and tested outside Balthazar Temple, and there it clearly is only armors adjacent to the target that's affected.
Is the skill bugged?

My "super secret tech" got nuked in another thread...anyways...
Bring 1x Assassin's Promise Curser/Cry of Pain spammer, and every ursan brings Arcane Mimicry. When form drops, mimic the AP guy, AP something dying, Ursan recharges instantly, get back into form, repeat. Your AP guy could run mark of pain and the like now since the ursans do slashing damage.

So, basically, this means that us professions such as Assassins are once again banished from Underworld and FoW teams alike, right?
Nobody took us in a team before Ursan. Ursan made it so everybody could join in.
Yeah, I agree, it was very overpowered. They should find a balance where it is neither overpowered or completely useless - just a balance. So everyone could be involved and not be critisized for using it.

I've tested, it works. Mimic'd AP has always been the way to get perma-dervish forms since before Aura of Holy Whatever. The only catch is finding a player intelligent enough to use AP and use it well, because your heroes won't.

The overall balance change is that all professions will be equal in ability while in Ursan form, and that Ursan will end after 60 seconds.
Since your attributes are 0 in Ursan form, warriors get no strength bonus or weapon advantage with attacks in between Ursan skills.
Since energy is now irrelevant for Ursan, eles and mesmer secondaries no longer have an advantage maintaining Ursan or recovering from zero energy when coming out of Ursan.
Since armor is set to 100, no profession gains an advantage (or disadvantage) from armor and insignias.
I have discovered one thing in post-nerf testing: Signets that have been activated before going into Ursan are not removed, and are based on the pre-Ursan attribute levels. So, things like Signet of Strength will still be effective.

Warriors still have one advantage over all other classes: Stonefist insignias.

Good to see that Ursan is finnaly useless for quick FoW/UW runs.
I had nothing against it myself, didn't play it myself.
I'm just happy that the QQ-ing is over now, hopefully.
Guess some people need to L2P now or un-install.

No, it's not. The 60 second recharge can be circumvented, and/or if everyone brings Ursan you still get perma-knockdown. However it is no longer completely brainless to run, it now takes some planning to use, so, yeah, while Ursan still works it will see much less use. If any.

So the run took 45min before this update. Most likely double now.
60sec fighting, then 60sec standing still because of the recharge.
I call that useless because I can complete FoW together with a friend + 6 heroes in just over an hour using a normal build.

Will I for one was very happy with the way Ursan was. I'll miss it! Now all those zealous mods on weapons are next to useless, again! Please bring it back, pretty please!! *prostrates self at ANET's feet*
Almost made me consider playing WoW, but only for a brief spec of a second, then I remembered WoW is crap, the graphics are crap, and the monthly fee is crap! So I'll just have to look back with fondest memories at what is an awesome skill that has undergone the 'nerfed into history' blight *sniff*.
